R McMahon Engineering was established in the early 1970’s by Ron and Ann McMahon, the company became limited in the early months of 1974. Sadly Ron McMahon passed away in the mid 1980’s, bravely his wife Ann continued the business with the aid of Howard Tennant who started with the company in 1974 and became a director shortly after Ron’s death. The business remained the same until February 2001 when Ann McMahon took a well deserved retirement.

The business was purchased by Howard and Cynthia Tennant, Cynthia started with the business in the early 1990’s in a clerical capacity. Since the mid 1990’s the company embarked on a policy of upgrading its machinery, this policy has continued, the latest acquisition being a 5 axes CNC purchased in 2006. Coupled with a loyal experienced staff with nearly 150 years joint service working as a team in a family based atmosphere, should give any prospective customer reassurance.
