The McMahon Large Spool is made of 3 polypropylene components that are friction welded together to create a spool for the line to wind onto. The spool is fixed to the backplate with the central axle bolt running through both spool and backplate. It also has a large winding knob attaced to it to wind the line on to the spool easily.
